Charlie, too, sees herself this way. “I don’t class myself as religious,” she tells me. “I grew up going to church with my grandparents but I think, if you strip it back, it’s all the same – connection, unity, love, community, kindness. Whether that’s Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, yoga or [insert any religion] feels besides the point.”
